1. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, bookings, treatments, products, vouchers, communication and agreements between Men's Bodyland, hereafter Bodyland, and the client. Deviations are valid only when confirmed in writing by Bodyland in advance.
By making an appointment, receiving a treatment, purchasing a voucher or using our services, the client declares that these terms have been read and accepted.
2. Bookings and appointments
Treatments are carried out by appointment only. A booking is made once the appointment has been confirmed online, by phone, in writing or through another communication channel. The client is responsible for checking the date, time, treatment, price and any additional information in the confirmation.
Clients should arrive no earlier than five minutes before the scheduled start. If the client arrives late, the treatment may be shortened or cancelled without automatic entitlement to a discount or refund. If the client is more than fifteen minutes late, Bodyland may cancel the appointment and charge the full amount.
Bodyland reserves the right to refuse, move or cancel a booking when necessary due to planning, safety, hygiene, illness, force majeure or professional judgement.
3. Cancellation and changes
An appointment can be cancelled or changed free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the treatment, unless agreed otherwise in writing. In case of cancellation within 24 hours or no-show, the full treatment amount may be charged.
Change requests are processed based on availability. Sending a message does not automatically mean that a change has been confirmed. A change is final only once Bodyland has confirmed it.
4. Payment and prices
All prices on the website include VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is made according to the payment method offered with the booking or treatment. New clients may be asked to pay fully or partially in advance to reduce no-shows.
Bodyland may change prices. The price agreed for a confirmed booking remains applicable to that appointment, unless there is an obvious error or the treatment is changed at the client's request.
5. Health, contraindications and responsibility
The client must share all relevant information in advance about health, medication, allergies, skin reactions, injuries, medical treatments, pregnancy, contagious conditions or other circumstances that may affect the treatment.
Bodyland does not provide medical care and does not make medical diagnoses. Massages, skin treatments, hammam, hair removal, teeth whitening and other treatments are intended as grooming, relaxing or supportive services. In case of medical complaints or doubt, the client should first seek advice from a doctor or qualified healthcare provider.
If relevant information is withheld or provided incorrectly, Bodyland is not liable for damage, complaints or unwanted reactions resulting from this.
6. Performance of treatments
Bodyland carries out treatments carefully and professionally, based on expertise, available information and the situation at the time of treatment. Results may vary per person and are not guaranteed.
If it becomes clear during the appointment that a treatment is not responsible or not suitable, Bodyland may adjust, shorten, replace or refuse the treatment. Where possible, this will be discussed with the client beforehand.
7. Conduct, safety and house rules
Clients must behave respectfully towards staff, other clients and the environment. Unwanted behavior, threats, aggression, discrimination, sexual remarks or boundary-crossing behavior are not tolerated.
Use of alcohol or drugs before a treatment is not permitted. Bodyland may refuse or stop the treatment if the client appears to be under the influence or if safety, hygiene or professional practice is at risk.
Mobile phones must be set to silent during treatments. The peace and privacy of others must be respected.
8. Products, vouchers and gift cards
Products can only be exchanged when unused, undamaged and in the original packaging, unless the law states otherwise. No cash refunds are given unless Bodyland is legally required to do so.
Gift cards and vouchers are valid for two years from the purchase date, unless a different validity period is stated on the voucher. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be used after expiry.
9. Personal data and confidentiality
Bodyland processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Information shared by clients in connection with bookings or treatments is treated confidentially, unless legal obligations require otherwise or sharing is necessary for performing the agreement.

10. Liability
Bodyland is not liable for damage caused by incorrect, incomplete or withheld information from the client. Bodyland is also not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, unless there is intent or gross negligence by Bodyland.
Any liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant treatment, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Complaints
Complaints about a treatment or product must be reported in writing as soon as possible, but no later than five business days after the appointment. Bodyland will respond within a reasonable period and, where possible, seek an appropriate solution.
A complaint does not suspend a payment obligation unless Bodyland confirms otherwise in writing.
12. Force majeure and changes
Bodyland is not liable for delay or inability to perform services due to force majeure, including illness, technical failures, government measures, emergencies, extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Bodyland may amend these terms. The latest version is available on the website. In case of substantive changes, the new version applies from publication unless stated otherwise.
13. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms and all agreements with Bodyland. If a translation differs from the Dutch text, the Dutch version is leading.
